Stepan Syvokhip

The artist was born in Lviv in a family of musicians. Since 2011, he has studied at the S. Krushelnytska Lviv State Music Lyceum. He participated in master classes under the guidance of Prof. Jerzy Kotyczka, Gungard Mattes, and Christoph Hartmann.

He has performed as a soloist with many symphony orchestras in Ukraine. He is a laureate of international competitions: "Trumpets of Bukovina" (Chernivtsi, 2017, 1st prize), 1st International Competition named after V. Antoniv and M. Zakopets (Lviv, 2018, 1st prize), Świętokrzyskie Festival of Wind Instruments (Kielce, Poland, 2018, 1st prize), competition named after Stepan Tomych (2021, Grand Prix), and the international competition named after Viacheslav Starchenko (2021, 2023 – 1st prize). As a soloist and orchestral artist, he has successfully performed in Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Sweden, the Czech Republic, the UK, and the USA. He has performed in many prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall New York, Konzerthaus Berlin, Konserthuset Stockholm, Dresdner Philharmonie, Hamburg Laeiszhalle, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Radio City Hall New York, Copernicus Center Chicago, Musikaliska Stockholm, and many others.
