MACIEJ FALKIEWICZ

Baritone, a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw at the Department of Instrumental-Pedagogical Studies in Białystok, in the solo singing class of Cezary Szyfman and Aleksander Teliga, and the Postgraduate Song Studies at UMFC in Warsaw. He honed his vocal skills during courses led by, among others, Olga Pasiecznik, Romuald Tesarowicz, Marcello Lippi, Jadwiga Rappé, Ryszard Karczykowski, Ewa Iżykowska, Marek Rzepka, Kai Wessel, Bogdan Makal, and Bruna Baglioni.

As a soloist, he participated in numerous concerts and festivals. He is a laureate of vocal competitions such as: The Tournament of Music Academies (2nd place, 2019), 1st National Vocal Competition for Conductors "Dirigere e cantare" (1st place, 2018), XIX International Vocal Competition Iuventus Canti (2nd place, Vrable/Slovakia/2017), 1st National Vocal Competition "Bella Voce" (1st place, Busko Zdrój 2017), 2nd National Vocal Competition named after Krystyna Jamroz (3rd place, Busko Zdrój 2016), XIII National Moniuszko Competition "Aria and evening song" (2nd place and the Cup of the Rector of UMFC, Białystok 2015). He is currently an artist of the Chorus of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw and an instructor in the City Choir of Białystok at the XI High School named after Rtm. W. Pilecki.
