He studied at the Catholic University of Lublin and earned a Master of Arts degree at the Zelwerowicz Academy of Dramatic Arts in Białystok. He founded the Plastic Scene of KUL (Catholic University of Lublin) in 1969, and since then, he has realized 23 premieres of his original productions, including "Ecce homo" 1970, "Zielnik" 1976, "Wilgoć" 1978, "Brzeg" 1983, "Wrota" 1989, "Szczelina" 1994, "Kir" 1997, "Bruzda" 2006, "Przejście" 2010, "Lustro" 2013, "Gorset" 2016. His theater participated in over fifty international festivals (including in Egypt, Japan, USA, Czech Republic), bringing back awards and distinctions.

He is the author of numerous stage designs in Polish, Portuguese, French, German, and Ukrainian theaters. He conducted classes and workshops for students at the invitation of universities and art schools in Poland, the USA, and many European countries. In 1997, he directed his play "Pętanie" for Television Theater. He is a member of the Association of Polish Photographic Artists. His works were presented, among others, in the Critics' Gallery "Pokaz" in Warsaw, the UNESCO Center in Beirut, the Opera Gallery in Cairo, the Center for Japanese Art and Technology Maanga in Kraków, the Lublin Museum, the Art Gallery of the Catholic University in Santiago de Chile, Theater-Cai in Tokyo, the National Museum in Wrocław, The Saddlery Gallery in Edmonton, Canada, and the Theater Museum in Warsaw.

In 1986, he founded the Art Gallery of the Plastic Scene of KUL. He has long been an academic teacher at institutions such as KUL, the University of the Arts in Poznań, and ASP in Warsaw. He is the initiator of the Contemporary Sacred Art Museum in Kielce; author of numerous posters and book graphics. He has received many awards and honors (including the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, the Gold Cross of Merit, the Silver Medal "Gloria Artis", and the Papal Cross of Merit Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice).
